As we reach the midpoint of the year, we reflect on the powerful ways God is moving through the programs and services of PDHC.

PDHC’s Pregnancy Support Pillar of Service

PDHC’s four pregnancy centers continue to be a beacon of truth and hope to women facing unexpected or challenging pregnancies. Already this year, over 1,200 individuals have walked through our doors for help, including 12 individuals seeking Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) services. 543 new moms who were vulnerable to abortion made a life decision for their baby after seeing the precious heartbeat on an ultrasound. We have already responded to nearly 39,000 calls, texts, and chats on our hotline.

“I came to PDHC looking to discuss my options because when I found out I was having my second child, I was currently going through a rough patch in life and I could not see myself having another child. After talking with the nurse and knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I decided to continue with my pregnancy and now I couldn’t imagine life any other way. I am happy that I came to PDHC that day and made the greatest choice,” said a recent PDHC client.

PDHC’s Family Empowement Pillar of Service

Moms, dads, and families continue to be strengthened and empowered through in-person and online parenting classes and receive much-needed baby items, including diapers, clothing, car seats, and cribettes for participation. When new parents attend in-person classes, they can chat with each other, hold one another’s babies, and engage with the staff and volunteers. They are sharing their lives and receiving support and encouragement in the Family Empowerment Program. Already this year, we have helped 652 new moms and 216 new dads through over 450 in-person and over 7,900 online classes. We have provided over 1,400 material aid visits and distributed over 87,700 diapers.

“PDHC helped me as a new mom who didn’t know much. I remember my last class I attended was about postpartum depression and baby blues. I didn’t know that a few days later I would be going into preterm labor at 30 weeks. All the lessons I learned helped me through one of the toughest times of my life. Everyone at PDHC is very welcoming and a representation of God on earth. I am grateful to have been part of this program. God bless everyone who donates to help this program exist,” said one participant.

PDHC's Prevention Pillar of Service

Matt, Director of the Common Sense Culture (CSC) program, shares that every classroom, every lesson, every conversation is a front-line opportunity to speak truth into confusion and offer hope where there is often silence or shame.

“Our mission has never been just about information—it’s about transformation. And transformation is happening,” said Matt.

One student wrote this after our presentation:

"I really liked the lessons. I found it to be very impactful for me. I think the part that you said about how people bond to their sexual partner. I have heard that from people at my church before, but I never knew it is true scientifically. I have been in a relationship for 2 years and have never had sex because I am a Christian, this lesson really gave me more of an understanding of why the Bible says to wait."

This is exactly why we go. That student is one of thousands we’ve reached so far this year—but their story reflects so many others: young people hungry for truth, grateful for clarity, and strengthened in their convictions when science, values, and faith align.

Through CSC, students are learning:

  • That their value isn't defined by their mistakes or social status

  • That self-control and integrity aren’t outdated—they’re life-giving

  • That the biblical worldview doesn’t suppress life, it protects it

When we teach about bonding hormones like Oxytocin and Vasopressin, students begin to understand that God’s design is not only moral, but also biological—written into our very makeup. These are moments where scientific truth affirms biblical truth, and students walk away encouraged, not just instructed.

Romans 8:31 reminds us: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” In a culture that often pushes back hard, this verse anchors our work. We’re not just offering content—we’re defending identity, shaping destiny, and restoring culture through truth.

PDHC’s Abortion Healing Pillar of Service

1 in 4 women have had an abortion. Healing after an abortion experience looks different for every person. Sometimes emotions after an abortion experience can be overwhelming, unexpected, and confusing. Whether it’s been 3 weeks, 3 months, or even 3 decades, it’s never too late to find healing. PDHC provides a safe space to be in community with others who have also experienced abortion and helps individuals unpack their emotions through personalized healing journeys. We want them to find the strength to move forward and embrace the possibility of peace. So far this year, we have helped 47 individuals begin their journeys through faith-based group studies, drop-in connection meetings, and a weekend retreat. We have responded to over 1,500 calls and texts on the CareLine. Call or Text 614.721.2100

for help.

“For two years, I wrestled with my shame, hesitating to step fully into healing. As I arrived at the Celebration of Restoration Luncheon, I was both excited and anxious, not knowing what to expect. But what I witnessed that day took my breath away. The room was filled with women whose faces radiated joy, hope, and redemption—women who had walked the same painful road I had. Their beauty was not just external; it was the unmistakable glow of hearts set free. At that moment, my shame began to dissolve. I felt God whispering to my soul, reminding me of His unfailing forgiveness. I saw what I had been longing for—peace, joy, and freedom. And then, with a heart wide open, I finally embraced the truth: I was not beyond redemption. God’s love was not just for them; it was for me too. That day, I stepped into the fullness of His grace, ready to receive the beautiful gift of restoration He had been holding for me all along," said one abortion healing participant.
