May was a month of celebrations. We observed Nurse Appreciation Week with the theme, “Nurses Make the Difference.” We commemorated the beauty and joy of motherhood on Mother’s Day. Over 100 men inspired us as they stood boldly for the protection of life at our 33rd annual Golf for Life event. We rejoiced in the healing experiences received by individuals participating in our abortion recovery programs. And together, we praised God for many lives saved. These experiences highlight the beauty of individuals and groups joining together in service to others, making a lasting impact in the lives of many.
As it says in Isaiah 6:8, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!” It is through the combined efforts of many individuals answering God’s call and coming together like pieces of a puzzle to create a beautiful masterpiece through the ministry of PDHC. The women and families we serve inspire our mission and receive love, hope, and a community of support through the collective efforts of every prayer warrior, volunteer, staff member, community and church partner, and donor.
