New life, it is all around us. Spring reminds us. We see it budding through on flowering trees, poking up through the dirt. During this most holiest of weeks, we set aside time to celebrate the new life we have in Christ through the resurrection of our King, The Lamb, who sacrificed Himself so that we might have new life in Him.
What a gift it is that our Savior reminds us of purpose through the seasons.
It is during the dormant seasons in nature and in our lives that God restores us for new growth. The pregnant women who come to PDHC are often in dark places. They are overwhelmed, fear that their lives are over or ruined in some way. They feel they have lost their chance of hope and promise for a future. On the contrary, new life is just beginning! Not only their babies’ lives new, but new fullness of life and growth for them as mothers.
Sometimes this cycle of life feels painful but then we see it in full bloom. The glory of God’s great plan for our lives. It is beautiful. For it is the very darkness of death and the tomb that cause the resurrection and the light of our Risen Savior to shine that much brighter.
Thank you for championing the hope of new life with others. Babies always give reason to rejoice over new beginnings and promise for the future. I pray you have a blessed Easter celebrating God’s greatest gift.
