For God has not given us a spirit of fear but one of power, love and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Like most organizations, we at Pregnancy Decision Health Centers are monitoring the developments with the Coronavirus pandemic, and have been planning and implementing additional precautionary measures within our centers and our organization as a whole. Although there are many significant changes going on all around us, PDHC will continue to serve women and families facing unexpected pregnancies in central Ohio.
We are acting in a spirit of love and sound mind, so we can continue to empower women who need pregnancy support. Our hotline is still available 24/7 at 614.444.4411. For the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff we are making the following adjustments:
Our Parenting Class Education program ismoving to a online platform rather than meeting in groups in person.
We are replacing shopping hours for maternity and baby items with shopping appointments and designated pick-up times for diapers and wipes.
Clients will be screened prior to appointments and nurses will look for symptoms of illness.
When practical, nurses will schedule televisits with clients to go through information packets or other in-depth follow up.
We have increased the frequency of our already stringent cleaning and disinfecting practices, especially “high touch” surfaces. Hand sanitizer is available to all clients, staff and volunteers throughout our centers.
Administrative work will be completed remotely from home whenever possible.
We are instructing staff, volunteers and clients to use personal prevention protection methods at all times, whether at they are at PDHC or at home. We encourage everyone to follow the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health and Center for Disease Control. Below are links to accurate and beneficial information.
Thank you for your continued prayers over PDHC and the women and families in the community we serve. We are thankful for each and every one of you and pray for the safety and health of your families as well. Please feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions. Blessings, Kathy
